The Woman And The Two Razors

As I'm sure you've realized, I have worked in the retail business and it really sucked. I must admit I have had some good times and met really nice people. I was at a retail store purchasing some make up. When I turned my head, that's when I remembered the annoying, frustrating stupid people that shop at these stores. A woman and her daughter were standing near me looking at razors. "What kind of razors do you want?" the mother asked her child. The girl shrugged her eyes glued to her phone. I don't care. Let's get the shick and bic then. Both of the tags say buy one, get one half off. The mom grabbed them and walked away. Out of curiosity I walked over to where they were and looked at the tags. I was hoping to get the same deal. Upon reading the actually words above the large ad sale it said buy one bic razor three pack at $5.99 get one 50% off. It did not you could mix and match or even mention the other item as part of the deal. I then heard the angry mother walk all the way back to where I was standing and grabbed another shick. As she was doing so I heard her say, "Fuck her and the rules," under her breath. All I could do was shake my head. It was not the woman's fault that the ads are set that way so why say "fuck her" when she didn't do anything to you? It is the rules so the woman has to follow them in order to keep her job. Unless she was being a bitch to you, I don't see why you should say something like that. People need to learn to read. Especially learn to read the small important words above the sale prices. Keep in mind folks, there's always a catch.
